This Privacy Policy describes how the mobile application Your Body Battery (“the App,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use our software on iPhone and Apple Watch. It applies to visitors of yourbodybattery.online and users of the App.
Summary
Your Body Battery is designed around on-device processing. The App reads health and activity-related data from Apple Health (HealthKit) that you choose to share, performs calculations on your device, and stores results locally. We do not operate a cloud service that stores your health records for the core functionality of the App, and we do not require an account to use the App.
Information the App accesses
Depending on the permissions you grant, the App may access categories of data available through Apple Health, such as heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep analysis, activity energy, workouts, steps, respiratory rate, blood oxygen, wrist temperature, and related metrics. The App may also read limited profile characteristics from HealthKit (for example, date of birth or biological sex) when available, or you may enter profile information manually in the App to improve scoring accuracy.
The App does not collect this data on our servers for processing in place of your device. Processing described in the App occurs on your iPhone unless Apple’s system services are involved as part of normal iOS operation (for example, App Store transactions).
Apple Watch companion
The Apple Watch experience mirrors information from the iPhone App. The watch app does not independently replace the iPhone’s role in reading HealthKit data as described in Apple’s documentation and the App’s implementation.
Local storage and export
Scores, preferences, and derived data may be stored on your device using Apple’s local storage mechanisms. If the App offers export of your data, files are generated for your use (for example, to save a copy or analyze it yourself). You control where exported files are sent.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, alerts are scheduled on your device based on thresholds and preferences you configure. We do not need to know your health metrics to display a notification — the App evaluates conditions locally.
Subscriptions and payments
Paid features, if offered, are processed by Apple through In-App Purchase. We do not receive your full payment card number. Apple may provide us limited subscription status information necessary to unlock features in the App. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
Website
The marketing site at yourbodybattery.online may use standard server logs (for example, IP address, user agent, and request time) as typically provided by a hosting provider. These logs are used for security and operations, not for selling personal data.
Analytics
Unless we explicitly disclose a change in the App or on this page, we do not use third-party advertising SDKs that track you across apps for ad targeting. If analytics are added in the future solely to improve stability or product quality, this policy will be updated to describe what is collected and how to opt out where applicable.
Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). Do not use the App if you are not old enough to consent to processing where you live.
Medical disclaimer
The App provides wellness insights based on available data. It is not a medical device and does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
International users
Because health data is processed on your device and not centralized by us for the core service, your information stays on your hardware under your control. If you contact us by email, your message is processed to respond to you.
Your rights and choices
You can revoke HealthKit permissions in iOS Settings, delete the App, or use in-app controls (where available) for notifications, theme, and data export. Residents of certain regions may have additional rights regarding personal information; contact us and we will respond in line with applicable law.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes may also be noted in the App or on this website.
